How it works
One choice, and everything follows.
Most video sites give every child the same library and leave them to search it. School does not work that way, and neither does this. You say which grade, and the site becomes that grade's.
Pick a grade
Kindergarten to Grade 12. It takes one tap and you can change it whenever you like.
Your subjects appear
Only the subjects that grade studies — and inside each, the chapters in the order they are usually taught, so you can find the one your class is on.
Each chapter holds playlists
A playlist is a short run of lessons on one idea, ending in a workshop where you try it yourself. 794 of them are planned across the school.
The lesson suits the age
A lesson for Grade 1 and a lesson on the same idea for Grade 11 are not the same lesson. The length, the voice, the examples and the questions at the end all change with the grade.
What changes with age
| Age group | Grades | Lesson | Narration | Workshop |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sprouts | K, 1, 2 | ~4 min | read aloud to the child; no text is required to follow the lesson | a game: point at the right picture, count along, say it out loud |
| Explorers | 3, 4, 5 | ~7 min | a confident reader of short sentences | three questions with a pause before each answer, and one puzzle to try alone |
| Builders | 6, 7, 8 | ~10 min | a fluent reader who can hold a two-step idea | a worked problem, a common wrong answer shown and corrected, then four to solve |
| Scholars | 9, 10, 11, 12 | ~14 min | a student who can read a textbook and a diagram together | exam-style problems worked end to end, including one marked wrong first, then a set to attempt |
Nothing has been filmed yet
What exists today is the whole plan: 13 grades, 88 subjects, 296 chapters and 794 playlists, laid out so you can see exactly what will be covered before a single lesson is made. Browsing it is free and always will be.
